It’s finally here! What you ask? Well, EMERA CBD Nourishing Haircare products of course! For those of us at Earthly Body who have been living it for the past months or year, it’s really gratifying to see EMERA come to market, and for those of you yet to discover it, we can say with confidence – You will love it!
Think A-listers.
The idea began earlier this year when we saw how CBD-infused beauty (skin care) products were gaining excitement, not just from consumers but from A-List Celebrities, and major press too (think NY Times, Allure, Marie Claire, Vogue, and more). Kevin Wachs, our fearless leader, and a pioneer in hemp-based personal care products since starting Earthly Body with his wife Mare back in 1996, had the thought – if this is good for skin, it’s got to be good for hair too. Yet, there was almost no haircare on the market with CBD Oil. After researching CBD further, we discovered that beyond the medical benefits that many are attributing to CBD Oil, that CBD is actually a fantastic ingredient for healthy scalp and healthy hair.
Why choose CBD in the first place?
What you might ask is so special about CBD? Well, for starters, how about all 21 known amino acids. Yep, they’re all in CBD Oil. Let’s add to that, essential fatty acids, like Omega 3, 6, and 9, all of which can be found in rich quantities in CBD Oil. If that isn’t enough to sway you, let’s throw in the high content of anti-oxidants in CBD Oil – which destroy those pesky free radicals that can cause a host of health problems. CBD Oil is also like the alphabet soup of vitamins. It contains Vitamins, A, B1, B2, B3, B6, C, D, and E, plus a host of other vitamins and minerals too lengthy to list here. Bottom-line, which hopefully you already got the gist of – CBD Oil is THE new super beauty ingredient.
Once we realized it was such a cool ingredient, we didn’t stop there. We threw in a smorgasbord (meaning a lot!) of other beneficial naturally-derived ingredients like Hemp Seed Oil, Avocado Oil, Chamomile, Lemongrass, Japanese Matcha Green Tea, and the list goes on.
The final result:
The end result, which we hope you will discover soon, are great performing haircare products that moisturize, nourish, and promote healthy hair growth, but without the harmful no-no ingredients that many companies fall back on. You know what we mean – no animal products, parabens, phthalates, dyes, and no THC! If you are new to the CBD world, no THC means that the products are non-psychoactive and therefore legal. They come from the hemp plant, not the marijuana plant. So, you can reap the benefits without worrying about flunking your drug test, or telling your friends and family about your guilty secret.
